Search for any AI marketing tool today and the first page is affiliate roundups written by people who never opened the product, vendor blogs reviewing themselves, and AI-generated listicles recycling each other. Meanwhile, the honest answers — the pricing complaints, the churn stories, the “we switched and here’s why” threads — are buried in Reddit comments and G2 footnotes nobody aggregates.

SignalBeforeBuy does the unglamorous work: we find those discussions, verify a human buyer wrote them, count the recurring themes, and publish the tally with a link to every source. No score out of ten, no “best of” badge for sale — just what real users said, counted honestly.

One small thing before you go: the five-color stripe at the top of every page isn’t decoration. Each segment is one place we listen — pink for Reddit, peach for G2, mint for YouTube, lavender for niche forums, blue for X. When all five are lit, the count is as honest as we know how to make it.

Public sources only Every signal comes from a publicly readable discussion. If you can’t click through and read it yourself, it doesn’t count.

No paid conclusions Vendors can sponsor placements, never verdicts. The signal tally is locked before any commercial conversation happens.

Affiliates disclosed, always When a link earns us a commission, it’s marked. The same tools get the same scrutiny whether they pay us or not.

Human-reviewed, every thread No bulk scraping into a spreadsheet nobody reads. A person reads each source before it enters a count.
